Job summary

ChristianaCare's Primary Care New Patient Intake Team is seeking a professional, dependable Medical Assistant I to support physicians and care teams through virtual patient interactions, coordinating care needs and scheduling while maintaining accurate EMR updates.

You'll join a collaborative team and provide essential clinical and administrative assistance, including referrals, visit preparation, patient portal support, and ensuring a seamless virtual care experience for patients transitioning

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or certified by a national organization (NCCA/ANSI).

Responsibilities

• Provide remote clinical and administrative support via virtual platforms.
• Assist with visit preparation, EMR updates, and scheduling workflows.
• Coordinate referrals and authorizations and manage patient communications.
• Troubleshoot video visits and support patient portal access.
• Complete clerical duties to ensure efficient virtual care.
