Scale AI Human Frontier Collective invites medical experts to join a fully remote, six-month fellowship as an independent contractor in the United States. You will help design, evaluate, and interpret advanced generative AI systems, collaborating with Scale and HFC researchers.

The role emphasizes clinical reasoning, rigorous writing, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with opportunities to co-author reports and papers and contribute to cutting-edge healthcare AI development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in internal medicine, emergency medicine, radiology, surgery, psychiatry, or related fields.
• Strong clinical reasoning and writing skills.
• Experience collaborating on medical AI research and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on high-impact projects with AI labs to design clinical scenarios and evaluate model safety and accuracy.
• Contribute to research publications with Scale’s research team.
• Engage with the HFC community and interdisciplinary network to advance frontier AI.
