Job summary

Network Health seeks an Encounter Data Analyst to support Medicaid data functions. The role focuses on identifying and correcting data errors, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring DHS compliance.

This remote WI position requires residence in Wisconsin and occasional travel to Menasha or Brookfield offices. Responsibilities include maintaining the METS tool, developing data workflows, and keeping up with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, health care IT, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in health insurance or government programs.
• 2+ years as a Business Analyst.
• Medicaid experience including DHS file submissions (837/834).
• Data analysis to identify trends and improve processes.
• Analyze data to determine error sources and trends.
• Experienced with database management, querying and reporting.
• MS Office at an intermediate/advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Lead encounter data error identification and coordinate resolutions with vendors, clients and internal departments.
• Act as liaison between external vendors, clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate maintenance and enhancements for the METS tool.
• Develop workflows and documentation for encounter data processes.
• Stay informed on DHS regulations and their impact on submissions.
• Attend all DHS technical calls.
• Propose approaches to automate and optimize processes.
