Job summary

Summit K12 is seeking a Director of Media & Events to elevate the brand through strategic events, media, partnerships, and industry relationships. This role leads the Media & Events team while representing Summit K12 at conferences, media events, podcasts, and partner engagements.

The ideal candidate brings executive presence, relationship-building, business acumen, and hands-on media/event experience.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with ability to travel regularly.
• Extensive experience leading media, events, and partnerships or related functions.
• Strong executive presence and ability to represent the organization at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Media & Events team and set priorities across events, media, podcasts, and partnerships.
• Represent Summit K12 at conferences, media events, podcasts, and partner engagements.
• Develop and manage sponsorships, media packages, and event opportunities with external partners.
• Oversee conference planning, budgets, logistics, lead generation, and ROI.
• Partner with external production and media partners to ensure quality execution.
• Travel regularly for conferences, events, recordings, and partner meetings.
