Job summary

Summit K12 is seeking a Director of Media & Events to elevate our brand through strategic events, media engagements, and partnerships. You will lead the Media & Events team and represent Summit K12 at conferences, media events, and partner engagements.

Fluent in English and Spanish, you will negotiate sponsorships, manage high-profile conferences, and mentor a growing team while ensuring alignment with marketing and business objectives in a fully remote, USA-based role.

Qualifications

• Executive presence with media and events leadership experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience negotiating sponsorships, partnerships, and contracts.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive brand impact.
• Experience leading and developing a team while hands-on as needed.
• K-12 education or EdTech exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a highly visible brand ambassador at conferences, media events, podcasts, and partner engagements.
• Host and facilitate interviews with educators, district leaders, and education partners.
• Emcee, moderator, interviewer, and presenter at major events and conferences.
• Lead strategic partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, and media activations.
• Oversee conference planning, budgets, logistics, and ROI in collaboration with the Events team.
• Develop and mentor the Media & Events team to ensure high-quality execution.
