Job summary

Pacific Health Group is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to help prospective members navigate Medi-Cal applications, renewals, and eligibility steps. The role is remote, with California residency requirements, and reports to the Member Engagement/Enrollment Leadership.

You will manage cases through BenefitsCal, track deadlines, renewals, denials, and MCP enrollment, while providing bilingual support and clear guidance to clients in a compassionate, person-centered manner.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in Spanish/English.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in healthcare administration, insurance enrollment, eligibility, social services, patient navigation, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist uninsured prospective members with Medi-Cal applications and renewals.
• Explain required documentation and verification requirements to members.
• Follow up on eligibility status, renewals, and MCP enrollment steps.
• Maintain ownership of pending Medi-Cal cases from initial application to final eligibility determination.
• Coordinate with counties, health plans, and internal teams to resolve barriers and ensure timely enrollment.
