Job summary

Responsibilities include documenting procedures, creating troubleshooting criteria, and delivering clear evaluation materials. Prior experience in AI is not required; strong hands-on mechanical experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years hands-on mechanical engineering technology experience.
• Associate degree or trade credential preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition, and prototype testing.
• Strong written communication and ability to document procedures and results.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design and author authentic workflow tasks reflecting real-world mechanical challenges.
• Develop test setups, instrumentation, data collection, analysis, and failure diagnosis.
• Create technical datasets and evaluation criteria for AI benchmarking.
• Document procedures, observations, and failure modes with high accuracy.
• Review deliverables for technical quality and alignment with project specs.
• Meet weekly submission requirements in a remote setting.
