Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a mechanically focused Process Engineer to join a reputable client’s team in the Minneapolis area. This role emphasizes fluid handling, CAD-based process diagrams, and hands-on design tasks, with primary remote work and periodic office visits in Brooklyn Park, MN.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering background, 5+ years experience, and strong AutoCAD skills. Travel up to 25% domestically is expected as part of client site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience with fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing is preferred.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail machines based on system requirements.
• Perform calculations related to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc.
• Visit client locations and verify that process flow designs match equipment.
