Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering AI Trainer to design domain-specific challenges and verify AI models' engineering reasoning. This fully remote, hourly contract role suits engineers comfortable with complex analytics.

You'll craft gold-standard solutions, audit CAD and thermodynamics outputs, and provide precise feedback to improve model safety and accuracy. Ideal candidates hold a master's or PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (in progress or completed) or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong foundation in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing processes.
• Excellent technical communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Meticulous with proofs, unit conversions, and design constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced engineering problems spanning FEA, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Author ground-truth solutions and golden responses for AI training.
• Audit AI outputs for CAD logic, thermodynamics, and materials accuracy.
• Identify and correct reasoning failures with structured feedback.
