The ideal candidate holds an MS/PhD or a BS with 1–2 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in Python and FEM tools. Flexible scheduling and ~15 hours per week offered.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong fundamentals in applied mechanics and engineering analysis.
• Experience with Python and coding for automation.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate mechanical-engineering problems across design, analysis, and simulation.
• Translate physical requirements into analytical or computational models.
• Create/modify geometry, meshes, materials, loads, contacts, constraints, solver inputs.
• Run simulations and verify results against constraints.
