Job summary

Above Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, process, and utility systems. The candidate should be a graduate engineer from an ABET-accredited program and lead design efforts across multiple disciplines.

The role requires mentoring junior staff and delivering quality engineering products. Experience with healthcare facilities and central plants is a plus; remote work is possible with hybrid schedules.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• PE license preferred or EIT considered.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Minimum 2 years post-degree experience in ME/MEP/AE.
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD tools required.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utility design efforts.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers on projects.
• Prepare design calculations, criteria, and design documentation.
• Review shop drawings and perform field verification.
