Job summary

Above Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, process, and utility systems.

The candidate should be a graduate engineer from an ABET-accredited program and will lead and mentor a team while contributing to design efforts to ensure quality products. Responsibilities include engineering from concept through construction, coordinating with project teams, and applying codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated engineer from an ABET-accredited institution with professional licensure potential.
• Experience with fire protection, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and utility systems; hydronic knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer of record from concept to construction administration.
• Directs and mentors subordinate staff daily.
• Reviews shop drawings and conducts field verification; performs system calculations.
