MATTR, on the Xerxes Design Support Team, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create customized underground storage tank designs and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineers, and Manufacturing to deliver precise drawings that meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes handling customer requirements, maintaining schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while developing product and process expertise

Qualifications

• SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Experience interpreting customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, high-quality technical sales drawings and 3D models for customized underground storage tank solutions using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Interpret customer requirements, site-specific specifications, and applicable regulatory standards to meet customer needs and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, distributors, product engineers, applications engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers to clarify requirements and deliver design support.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance first-time quality, productivity, and documentation.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining communication and meeting schedules.
• Develop expertise in Xerxes products, processes, and applications through mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.
