Job summary

MATTR is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join the Xerxes Design Support Team. This role focuses on creating customized underground storage tank designs and technical drawings that meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and project schedules.

You will work with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams while developing expertise in Xerxes products and processes. Remote work is supported from Argentina with a global impact across fuel and water solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and interest in mechanical design.
• Confidence communicating in English with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, high-quality technical sales drawings and 3D models for customized underground storage tank solutions using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with sales, engineers, manufacturing, and customers to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory and technical requirements and align with project timelines.
• Follow document control and drawing review processes and support multiple product lines (fuel and water).
• Drive continuous improvement in first-time quality, productivity, and design support.
