Job summary

Synthires is seeking highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Experts to contribute to an AI training project focused on engineering design, physical modeling, simulation, and computational problem-solving. The role is fully remote and contractor-based, with ~15 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates hold MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, have strong Python programming skills, and experience with coding agents and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of applied mechanics and fundamentals.
• Experience in analytical, computational, or simulation solutions.
• Practical proficiency with coding agents and AI-assisted workflows.
• Ability to independently solve complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate mechanical engineering problems involving design, analysis, simulation, testing, and R&D.
• Translate physical requirements into analytical and computational models.
• Develop and modify geometries, meshes, materials, loads, and boundary conditions.
• Execute and evaluate engineering simulations against constraints.
• Review and validate computational models, results, and solutions.
• Apply Python and coding agents to engineering workflows and problem solving.
