Job summary

Hack in Hire is seeking a Security Analyst to join our MDR/MTI-focused team. You will monitor security alerts, analyze threat intel, and help mitigate incidents for clients across LATAM and beyond. Fluency in English required for international collaboration.

The role offers remote LATAM participation with follow-the-sun coverage and exposure to leading detection technologies. Collaboration with Red and Blue Teams is central to the role.

Qualifications

• A degree in Cybersecurity or related field or equivalent training.
• Minimum 1 year in security alert analysis on SIEM/EDR.
• Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux administration.
• Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• English proficiency for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts on SIEM/EDR platforms.
• Analyze threat intelligence and anticipate attacks.
• Respond to detected threats with containment and mitigation.
• Generate reports and draft client notifications.
• Improve detection rules and reduce false positives.
• Develop/update playbooks and automate tasks.
• Participate in client meetings and deployment kickoff.
