Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Maximo Lead Developer for a remote, contract role (~12 months). You will design, code, and implement Maximo solutions across the full stack, guiding developer teams and delivering high-quality enterprise assets for a federal delivery environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Maximo experience, strong Java/Python skills, and certification. Expect hands-on work, architecture guidance, and collaboration with stakeholders in a structured Federal program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IBM Maximo experience across functional and technical areas.
• Hands-on Maximo 7.x configuration, MIF, Java customization, and BIRT reporting.
• 7.x installation/upgrade using Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, and Database Configuration.
• Proficiency in Java and Python; Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Certified Maximo Deployment Professional required.
• Experience leading developer teams, performing code reviews, and enforcing quality.
• Familiarity with federal enterprise IT environments and large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement Maximo apps, configurations, and integrations.
• Develop algorithms and optimize relational databases for performance and scalability.
• Create software development plans, standards, and coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders on designs.
• Identify technical risks and mitigate them proactively.
• Oversee developers, perform reviews, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Test components with sample data and validate outputs before deployment.
