Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an experienced Lead IT Solutions Architect to serve as the Program Lead for IBM Maximo, an Enterprise Asset Management system. You will oversee multiple Maximo instances and drive projects from weeks to years.

Develop roadmaps for Asset Health and AI, standardize Maximo usage across the Labs, and lead a team of developers, support staff, and consultants. Mentor others and present to management on cost, schedule, and performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of leading IT project teams to implement/support large COTS software projects.
• 3+ years of supporting Maximo or a similar Asset Management solution as an IT professional.
• 3+ years of experience in providing IT support to large scale facilities organizations in asset management and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of multiple Maximo instances and projects ranging from a few weeks to multiple years.
• Develop strategies and roadmaps for implementing new capabilities such as Asset Health and AI.
• Develop a standardized approach for using Maximo as an Enterprise Asset Management System across the Labs.
• Lead a team of developers, support staff, and consultants to deliver holistic solutions.
• Mentor others in Maximo and industry best practices.
• Exercise decision-making authority related to cost, schedule, and performance.
• Develop and deliver presentations to multiple levels of management.
