Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking Remote Math Competition Tutors to support AMC 8 and AMC 10 prep for North American students. This part-time role offers 15-20 hours per week with a remote setup, pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, and opportunities for salary advancement.

You will deliver one-on-one online lessons in English, guide students through competition-style problems, and help them build systematic approaches in number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry while fostering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Math, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• Experience in math competitions or competition teaching is highly preferred.
• Strong math foundation and familiarity with AMC/AIME/MathCounts.
• Available to work weekday evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10.
• Teach in English using interactive problem-solving based methods to help students develop analytical and logical thinking.
• Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies used in math competitions.
• Help students build systematic approaches to topics such as number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and improvement.
