Job summary

Foresight Mental Health in California is expanding its Maternal Mental Health (MMH) Specialty Program and seeks an experienced Maternal Mental Health Therapist to provide evidence-based care to people in the perinatal period.

The role involves individual and group therapy, participation in interdisciplinary rounds, collaboration with psychiatry, and maintaining a caseload of 25–35 clients while advancing MMH program development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• PMH-C certification strongly preferred; significant perinatal mental health experience if not certified.
• Minimum of two years post-licensure experience in behavioral health, IOP or PHP.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group therapy to MMH clients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary MMH rounds for case discussions and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with psychiatry and other disciplines for coordinated care.
• Maintain a clinical caseload of 25–35 clients, balancing program needs and admin time.

Education

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field

Postpartum Support International PMH-C certification (preferred)

Two years post-licensure experience in behavioral health (IOP or PHP)
