Job summary

Postpartum Support International is seeking a Remote Hotline Counselor to provide psychosocial support, information, and referrals to pregnant and postpartum individuals and families. You will document cases in Salesforce, collaborate with clinical teams, and maintain strict confidentiality from a home office.

The role requires a relevant professional license or qualified background, two years of maternal health experience, and compliance with training and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field preferred.
• Licensed Mental Health Clinician or equivalent required (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LPC, etc.).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with maternal and child health populations.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, browsers, and search directories.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephonic, text, and chat inquiries with psychosocial support and brief interventions.
• Educate help-seekers about perinatal mental health resources and services.
• Refer to appropriate services and resources within approved directories.
• Maintain complete, accurate Salesforce documentation in real time.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality of all information.
• Collaborate with remote team via Slack and other channels.
