Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician/Perinatologist for a Part-Time or Per Diem role. The position allows remote work from anywhere within Arizona while delivering expert MFM consultation and high-risk obstetric care.

The physician will review obstetric ultrasounds, collaborate with obstetricians and midwives, and educate patients on pregnancy complications and management.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine/Perinatology.
• Arizona physician license and DEA or ability to obtain before employment.
• Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within seven working days.
• Experience in high-risk pregnancy evaluation and obstetric ultrasound interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert MFM consultation and management for high-risk pregnancies.
• Review obstetric ultrasounds performed onsite and relay findings to referring providers.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, CNMs, sonographers, and APNs for comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on pregnancy complications and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and multidisciplinary planning.
• Mentor trainees and staff as appropriate.
