Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join our women’s health team in a part-time or per diem capacity. The role allows remote work from within Arizona and involves specialized consultation for high-risk obstetrical patients across our communities.

The physician will review obstetric ultrasounds, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to education and mentorship while supporting maternal and fetal health

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)/Perinatology.
• Active Arizona physician license and DEA or ability to obtain before employment.
• Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within seven working days.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert MFM consultation for high-risk pregnancies.
• Review and interpret obstetric ultrasounds performed onsite and provide reports.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, family medicine physicians, CNMs, sonographers, nurses, and APPs.
• Educate patients and families about pregnancy complications, risks, and management options.
• Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Mentor medical students, residents, and nursing staff as appropriate.

Elk Ridge Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician/Perinatologist to join our growing women's health team in a Part-Time or Per Diem capacity. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within Arizona while providing specialized consultation and support for high-risk obstetrical patients across the communities we serve. The physician will provide expert Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultation, review and interpret obstetric ultrasounds, collaborate with referring providers, and help optimize maternal and fetal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and management recommendations for high-risk pregnancies to optimize maternal and fetal health outcomes.
• Review and interpret obstetric ultrasounds performed onsite, delivering timely and comprehensive reports and recommendations to referring providers.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, family medicine physicians, certified nurse midwives, sonographers, nurses, and advanced practice providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding pregnancy complications, fetal conditions, treatment options, prevention strategies, and overall health improvement.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review activities, program development, and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Support the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, advanced practice clinicians, certified nurse midwives, and clinical staff as appropriate.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)/Perinatology.
• Current, active, and unencumbered Arizona Physician License and DEA or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within seven working days of employment.
• Demonstrated expertise in the evaluation and management of high-risk pregnancies and interpretation of obstetric ultrasound.
