Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Material Program Manager to bridge the Supply Chain and Program teams for Naval Radars. You will manage supplier performance, control MRP-driven schedules, and coordinate with procurement to meet contract and technical data requirements. The role requires 5+ years in supply chain or program management, U.S.

citizenship, and the ability to travel domestically. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a supply chain role and/or program/project management.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with suppliers.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

• Work closely with program and partnering functions to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements.
• Partner with procurement to ensure suppliers are meeting program requirements (contractual requirements, drawing and technical data packages, and schedule requirements).
• Assist procurement with supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s)
• Provide status by preparing and presenting slides and files during team tag-ups, daily/weekly program meetings, and monthly program & customer reviews
• Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment and the programs’ schedule within that environment while balancing supply and demand to allow for an executable schedule
• Overall ownership of the supplier and finance management process (i.e., Risk/Opportunity, Line of Balance, Metrics, Material sales forecasts)
• Proactively address and complete urgent supply chain tasking (Purchase Requisitions integrity, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW), Purchase Order follow up)
• Communicate program status, issues, and resolution plans across all major stakeholders, including Raytheon senior management, customers, and suppliers
• Travel domestically to suppliers as needed
