Responsibilities include procuring items, analyzing requisitions, onboarding suppliers, maintaining ABC classifications, and optimizing KanBan/supplier replenishment while driving cost reductions

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years planner/buyer experience in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS CPIM or equivalent certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Procure production/inventory/MRO items in a timely, cost-conscious manner.
• Receive and analyze requisitions to determine quantity, specs and delivery requirements.
• From approved supplier list, select suppliers to fulfill scheduled plant deliveries.
• On-board new selected suppliers for material planning.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and safety stock for parts.
