Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst to help ensure trusted master and reference data across client environments. The role focuses on profiling, hierarchy maintenance, and stewardship in support of AI governance and semantic layer engagements.

You will partner with business and IT stakeholders to document decisions, run data quality checks, review match and survivorship outcomes, and produce client-ready deliverables using industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a BI/Data/MDM analyst supporting master or reference data.
• Hands-on data profiling and analysis experience; SQL proficiency.
• Working knowledge of core MDM concepts — match/merge, survivorship, hierarchy management.
• Ability to distill disparate information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Familiarity with reference data lifecycle — sourcing, ingestion, distribution.

Responsibilities

• Meeting facilitation support: participate in and document meetings with stakeholders; capture decisions and actions.
• Profiling and analysis: run profiling against master/reference data; document patterns, gaps, and quality issues.
• Match and merge support: review candidates, document survivorship outcomes, tune rules.
• Reference data operations: source external standards, manage internal reference sets, track updates.
• Hierarchy maintenance: curate domain hierarchies and capture approvals.
• Stewardship support: onboard data stewards and document responsibilities.
• Quality operations: define/monitor data quality rules and track remediation.
• Tool operations: work in MDM/RDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, SAP MDG, Profisee).
• Deliverable production: prepare profiling reports, runbooks, training materials, and client-ready deliverables.
