Job summary

Bluesky is seeking a Marketing Manager who will own our narrative across press, channels, and the wider internet. You will produce content, partner with creators, and manage paid and earned campaigns, while shaping the brand voice across multiple formats.

This remote role overlaps with PST and requires a track record of fast, impactful storytelling. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and community teams to ensure messaging matches what ships, while building relationships

Qualifications

• 10+ years in communications, marketing, content, or media.
• Portfolio of work showing content that traveled, stories landed, campaigns discussed.

Responsibilities

• Own Bluesky's story across press, channels, and the internet.
• Create content and collaborate with creators to amplify it.
• Source speaking opportunities for leaders and prep them for events.
• Pitch stories with journalists and creators, proactively.
• Build a broad network of reporters and creators and manage partnerships.
• Plan launches and campaigns for new features and moments on Bluesky.
• Shape brand voice to stay consistent across all outputs.
• Monitor network trends and turn them into timely stories.
• Lead communications through crises with speed and transparency.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and community to align messaging.
