Caring for Kids seeks a Marketing and Communications Assistant to support the Program Director of Agency Development and Community Engagement. Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media and digital content to build awareness of the organization and its programs.
• Lead marketing and communications efforts focused on foster parent recruitment and donor engagement.
• Educate the community about foster care and adoption, including realities, myths, needs, and opportunities to get involved.
• Create donor appeals and fundraising content tied to campaigns and events.
• Develop content for awareness months and observances; create newsletters and marketing materials.
• Attend events and capture photos/videos; maintain an image archive with consent records.
• Increase visibility through outreach, partnerships, and digital platforms; share stories and resources.
