Job summary

Global Impact Collective, a woman-owned strategy consultancy, seeks a Marketing and Communications Manager in Seattle or remote. You will write and edit newsletters, manage campaigns, and help shape client communications while coordinating events and materials.

The role offers hands-on work with senior consultants, opportunities to manage Framer-based site content, social media, and a editorial calendar across initiatives. Experience in food systems and sustainability is valued.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in communications, marketing, content development, events, or related fields.
• Strong writer and editor able to turn complex material into concise, engaging content.
• Campaign-minded with ability to build awareness and drive participation over time.
• Highly organized with experience managing editorial calendars, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Strong project management, ownership of workstreams, and timely follow-through.
• Detail-oriented, checking typos, formats, approvals, and deadlines.
• Audience-focused, thinking about what readers need and what action to take next.
• Technology fluent: comfortable with PowerPoint/Outlook and newsletter tools; AI tools welcomed.
• Interest in food systems, sustainability, and purpose-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and edit content: newsletters, emails, announcements, and web content.
• Plan and manage campaigns and calendars to build awareness and engagement.
• Create materials: PowerPoint decks, emails, and simple graphics within brand templates.
• Support events: plan and coordinate speakers, timelines, and logistics.
• Support GIC marketing: manage website (Framer), LinkedIn, blog posts, and editorial calendar.
• Manage projects/workstreams: maintain plans, action items, and follow-ups.
