Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Market Research Specialist to manage primary research, brand health tracking, and applied insights to inform business and marketing strategies. The specialist will analyze external vendor datasets using Excel and, when applicable, analytical tools such as Python, R, or SAS.

This contract role is remote in the United States and requires experience in market research, presenting insights to stakeholders, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in a primary market research role on the supplier or client side.
• Experience managing primary research and applying insights to business outcomes.
• Experience in brand health tracking and long-term marketing research projects, ideally in financial services.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or similar tools preferred.
• Experience presenting insights to stakeholders in a consultative capacity.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in primary and secondary research to inform business and marketing strategies.
• Design and execute market research projects, select methodologies, assess pricing and feasibility, conduct analyses, and present insights.
• Partner with business, media, advertising, and marketing teams to translate objectives into a research agenda that guides strategy.
• Present brand and marketing insights to internal clients and leaders to drive discussion and business action.
• Perform periodic data pulls and ad hoc analyses to inform key decisions.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of evidence-based marketing to refine brand strategy and measurement.
• Analyze external vendor datasets and synthesize brand marketing insights.
