Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Market Access Attorney to provide strategic legal counsel on market access, pricing, reimbursement, and government pricing matters for Life Sciences clients. You will draft and negotiate complex contracts with PBMs, payers, GPOs, wholesalers, and data-sharing entities while ensuring compliance with FDA, FDCA, and anti-kickback laws.

Remote (U.S.) position with cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of attorney experience in pharma/biopharma
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, FDCA, Anti-Kickback Statutes, False Claims Act
• Experience drafting & negotiating PBM, payer, GPO, and rebate agreements
• Experience advising on advertising, promotion, and interactions with HCPs and payers
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business strategy

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate market access-related agreements (PBM, payer, GPO, wholesaler, rebates, value-based contracts)
• Provide guidance on market access, pricing, reimbursement, and government pricing obligations (MAP, AMP, ASP, 340B, VA/FSS)
• Advise on coverage, coding, and reimbursement initiatives with cross-functional teams
• Counsel on patient assistance programs and Anti-Kickback considerations
• Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, compliance, finance and market access teams
• Manage legal/compliance issues related to pharmaceutical pricing and payer contracting
• Provide risk-based advice on interactions with payers, PBMs, and government programs
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting market access and contracting
