Job summary

Hempel, a global leader in coating solutions, seeks a Senior Coating Advisor to deliver technical support, inspections and training. You will work remotely with extensive travel to job sites, collaborating with sales, R&D and customer care teams.

The role requires 5+ years in coatings, marine experience, English proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 80%. Spanish is a plus and NACE certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Bachelor degree.
• 5+ years of experience in coating industry.
• Marine coating experience.
• English business proficiency.
• Willing to travel up to 80%, domestic and international.
• Spanish an advantage.
• NACE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales teams, customers and stakeholders.
• Perform inspections, condition surveys and oversee product application activities.
• Prepare inspection reports and evaluate sales proposals for technical accuracy.
• Deliver onsite training to coatings applicators and sales teams.
• Educate customers about coating performance and value of Technical Services.
• Ensure compliance with Product Data Sheets and relevant standards.
• Collect data and prepare progress reports, including testing and interpretation.
• Participate in strategy activities with Technical Services.
