Footnote is seeking a talented editorial leader to engage with academics and create compelling narratives that share their research through our AI-enhanced tool, Folio. This fully remote, half-time role requires 15 to 25 hours per week, involves writing, editing, and content strategy development, and offers flexible scheduling during U.S. hours. Ideal candidates will have strong writing skills, familiarity with academic research, and a curiosity for AI to enhance communication strategies. The position pays between $45-$60 an hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with academic partners on content communication strategies.
• Revise and edit content created by academic partners using Folio.
• Write high-quality op-eds, articles, and pitches for publication.
• Refine AI prompts to enhance Folio's workflows.
• Oversee client activities in Folio to ensure content quality.
