Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Independence, OH with a focus on installation, maintenance, and servicing of Floxal nitrogen generation systems. The role blends fieldwork with hands-on technical tasks to meet safety and operational standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, relevant trade/HVAC credentials, and at least two years of industrial field service experience, with strong mechanical skills and the ability to read blueprints and P&ID drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school certification.
• HVAC or refrigeration certification or ASSE Medical Gas credentials are advantageous.
• Minimum of two years industrial field service experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&ID, and design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Safety adherence to protocols and promote a safety culture.
• Assist in installation of Floxal systems at customer sites.
• On-site maintenance of nitrogen generation equipment.
• Electrical repairs to motor controls, relays, and alarms.
• Piping system installations following SOPs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on N2 generation equipment.
• Undertake additional duties to enhance operations.
