Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Mid-Senior level Mainframe Security Engineer located in Alpharetta, GA or open to remote work. The candidate will provide engineering support for mainframe security products and manage automation and troubleshooting initiatives. With a minimum of 5 years of mainframe experience, strong communication and project management skills are essential. Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience on the mainframe.
• Experience with Mainframe security software (Broadcom/CA-TSS).
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for MS Enterprise Z Mainframe Security products.
• Develop automation and troubleshoot issue tickets with vendors.
• Coordinate with Security Management team on security proposals.

Skills

Experience with Mainframe security software configuration

Programming in Mainframe batch languages (C, JCL, REXX)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with distributed technology (UNIX, USS)

Good project planning and time management skills

MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
