Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe z/OS administration including PARMLIB updates and system software maintenance.
• Hands-on storage administration including DASD, tape, and virtual tape concepts.
• Knowledge of hardware platforms used in mainframe environments and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational monitoring to verify system availability and performance.
• Respond to incidents and alerts to ensure rapid recovery and service continuity.
• Collaborate with application and development teams for planning, testing, and production readiness.
• Perform problem determination by reviewing logs, job outputs, and diagnostics.
• Apply changes following change and release management standards.
• Support 24/7 operations and on-call coverage.
• Install and customize ISV products like Systemware JHS, LRS VPS, and Chicago Soft QuickRef.
