Qualifications

• 5+ years developing enterprise mainframe applications using COBOL
• 5+ years of JCL development and job scheduling
• 3+ years of NATURAL/ADABAS experience
• 5+ years of TSO/ISPF or similar editing tools
• 3+ years of AFP, PAGEDEF, FORMDEF, OVERLAY technologies
• Advanced COBOL/JCL/NATURAL programming expertise
• Knowledge of ADABAS database architecture and file structures
• Experience maintaining large legacy mainframe systems
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging for batch/online applications
• Experience developing system integrations and data feeds
• Ability to analyze technical specs, workflows, and data models
• Experience with mainframe utilities and job monitoring tools

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL/NATURAL/JCL programs
• Work on legacy mainframe applications and tax/client system integrations
• Analyze and document mainframe applications for modernization
• Design, code, test, and maintain batch and online mainframe apps
• Troubleshoot production issues, root cause analysis and fixes
• Analyze ADABAS data, databases, and file structures
• Develop data feeds and interfaces between legacy and modern systems
• Participate in design reviews, planning sessions, and code reviews
• Create and maintain technical specs and data definitions
• Support testing phases including UAT and production deployments
