Job summary

CEI is seeking a Mainframe DB2 Administrator to install, maintain, and optimize IBM DB2 for z/OS on a mainframe. The role includes 24x7 on-call support, disaster recovery, performance tuning, upgrades, and migrations for enterprise systems.

The position offers remote work, W2 contract with potential extension or conversion to full time with the client, and a pay range of $40–$42 per hour plus optional benefits. A Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field with strong DB2 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree CS/IS or related field or 4 years of related work experience
• 4+ years as DB2 DBA on z/OS or LUW
• Experience with mainframe tools (ISPF, TSO, CICS, QMF) and 24x7 production support

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and optimize IBM DB2 for z/OS on the Mainframe
• Provide disaster recovery support and incident resolution
• Perform performance tuning, upgrades, migrations, and data movement
• Support audits across multiple platforms and lead on-call rotation
