Job summary

Amentum is seeking a M365 & Identity Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Microsoft 365 and IAM across hybrid environments. The role requires hands-on M365 configuration, automation, and identity lifecycle management, with Entra ID and Okta experience, plus strong security practices.

The position is US remote telework, requiring US citizenship. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience, a related bachelor's degree, and a track record of securing enterprise collaboration platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on M365 administration and engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience in Identity & Access Management in enterprise environments; Okta experience preferred.
Experience supporting hybrid identity (On‑Premises Exchange, Entra ID Connect, federation, sync).
US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain M365 services including Exchange Online, Purview, OneDrive, Teams, and secondary support for SharePoint Online, Power BI, Power Platform.
Manage Entra ID identity services including Conditional Access, External Identities (B2B), MFA, SSO integrations, and identity lifecycle processes.
Manage Okta and other company identity platforms.
Provide support for email platforms including Microsoft Exchange 2016/SE and Exchange Online.
Develop and enforce M365 governance, security policies, and compliance configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across M365, IAM, and hybrid environments.
