Job summary

Emergence is seeking an M&A Integration Lead to join our deal team as a strategic operations counterpart. You will influence integration strategy from LOI through close and beyond, shaping playbooks and governance to scale future integrations.

You will manage multiple complex integrations in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment, collaborating with operating partners and portfolio CEOs to realize deal value and build durable processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of M&A integration experience with direct ownership of integrations across multiple transactions.
• Experience with pre-close diligence and Day 1 readiness planning.
• Ability to translate the deal thesis into a practical integration plan with clear owners, milestones, risks and decision points.
• Familiar with PE-backed environments and the cadence of value creation teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-close diligence and integration planning activities.
• Coordinate functional workstreams (IT, HR, legal, CRM, change mgmt) and ERP migration efforts.
• Operate IMO cadence: weekly meetings, steering committee reporting, progress updates.
• Direct junior integration PMs and vendor workstreams, track outcomes vs deal model.
