Job summary

Emergence is hiring its first dedicated M&A integration leader in the US. You will drive operational diligence, shape integration playbooks, and lead multiple concurrent integrations across diverse deal profiles. The role spans pre-close planning to post-close execution with Senior Partners and portfolio CEOs.

Remote, U.S.-based role with near-term travel to portfolio companies. Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $250,000, plus bonus and equity depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of M&A integration experience with direct ownership of integrations across multiple transactions.
• Experience translating deal thesis into actionable integration plans with clear owners and milestones.
• Ability to manage across pre-close diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-close diligence and integration planning with the deal team.
• Oversee post-close integration management office and governance cadence.
• Coordinate IT, HR, legal, CRM, and change management workstreams.
• Direct junior PMs and vendor workstreams and manage cross-functional teams.
• Track outcomes against value drivers and report progress to leadership.
• Capture lessons and feed into integration playbooks for future deals.
