Job summary

Bosveld Law PLLC, a boutique business and transaction firm based in The Woodlands, Texas, seeks a remote/hybrid corporate and M&A attorney in Houston to lead deals and client matters from start to finish. You’ll have the chance to grow your own client base with firm backing and support.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in corporate/transactional law, Big Law or sophisticated boutique experience, and meaningful M&A deals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practice as a corporate/transactional attorney.
• Big Law or sophisticated boutique corporate experience.
• Meaningful M&A experience with substantial deal drafting beyond due diligence.
• Clients of your own are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setup with discipline and responsiveness.
• You can lead a deal from LOI to closing without a senior partner over your shoulder.
• License in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deal: represent buyers and sellers from pre-LOI through closing, including diligence, purchase agreements, and closing deliverables.
• Serve as outside general counsel on contracts, commercial agreements, and ownership matters with tailored advice.
• Move work quickly and accurately while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate with the firm and other attorneys on strategy and key calls.
• Grow a personal practice if desired, with firm support and brand backing.
