Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Corporate Development Associate (M&A) who will work remotely and report to our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. This role involves managing M&A deal execution from LOI through close, overseeing project management, due diligence, financial analysis, and supporting transaction documentation.

You will collaborate with various teams, lead integration planning, and ensure smooth transitions post-close.

Qualifications

• Must be analytical with strong financial modeling and diligence synthesis skills.
• Execution-oriented; comfortable managing many moving pieces.
• Clear communicator; able to interface with executives and external advisors.
• Proactive, self-directed, and accountable.
• Passion for modernizing the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Own deal execution and project management of workstream across multiple live deals.
• Diligence leadership that includes building and managing confirmatory diligence checklists.
• Financial analysis & underwriting to support valuation and deal economics.
• Manage data room requests and document organization.
• Support transaction documentation by coordinating with internal/external counsel.
• Maintain closing tracker; ensure all parties are aligned on funds flow and prorations.
• Initiate Day 1 / first 30–100 day integration planning.
• Produce weekly deal status updates and executive-ready summaries.
