Job summary

Centene is seeking a Senior Corporate Development Analyst to support our Corporate Development Group focused on merger and acquisition activities within the healthcare sector. You will build financial models, evaluate opportunities, and prepare materials for Board-level review from a remote US location with up to 10% travel.

The role requires 2+ years in corporate development or related finance functions, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience in corporate development, investment banking, or finance with a healthcare focus.
• Knowledge of M&A, valuations, and corporate development; healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market environment, industry trends, and acquisitions.
• Evaluate and monitor potential acquisition opportunities for Centene’s core business.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, including financial projections and valuation analyses (DCF, A&D).
• Lead development of summary materials for Board-level review and due diligence efforts.
• Coordinate due diligence and document conclusions; support cross-functional teams.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to support development objectives.
• Take ownership of project deliverables and provide analytics to other groups as needed.
