Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Senior Corporate Development Analyst to support the Corporate Development Group with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions. The role conducts financial modeling and valuation analysis, tracks acquisition targets, and supports board-ready materials.

You will participate in due diligence, develop summary conclusions, and assist with recurring reporting, recruiting and training activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, finance or healthcare-focused roles.
• Knowledge of mergers & acquisitions, valuations, and related financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Purpose:

The Senior Corporate Development Analyst supports the Corporate Development Group, with a primary focus on merger and acquisition activities. The role conducts financial modeling and valuation analysis, tracks current and prospective acquisition and investment targets, evaluates competitive and industry information, and supports recurring reporting, recruiting, and training activities.
The position also evaluates acquisition opportunities, manages due diligence activities, develops summary conclusions, and supports the preparation of materials for Board-level review.

Key Details:

This position is 100% remote within the United States with up to 10% travel for onsite or team meetings.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.

2+ years of related experience in Corporate development, investment banking, finance, accounting, with a healthcare focus. Knowledge of Corporate Development, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Valuations, preferably in a healthcare environment required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Certified Financial Analyst CFA) preferred Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
