Job summary

Centene seeks a Senior Director of LTSS Clinical Care Management to lead long-term care management for members with physical, medical, and behavioral health needs. This remote Indiana-based role drives vision, oversees staff, and ensures NCQA-compliant reporting and performance improvements.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in care management, 5+ years in leadership, and an RN license or equivalent licensure. Relocation to Indiana may be required for some teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred for positions overseeing BH team members.
• 10+ years of related experience required.
• 5+ years management experience preferred.
• Current state RN license preferred, OR equivalent licensure per state contract (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC).

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to the long-term care management process.
• Develop and communicate a vision and direction for the department.
• Oversee work assignments and caseloads of long-term care management staff.
• Monitor and sign off on contract required reporting.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, state, and NCQA standards.
• Attend conferences to stay updated on trends in Payer Care Management.
• Lead and coordinate large or special project work.
• Provide subject matter expert guidance to senior leadership.
• Review long-term care member data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Engage in onboarding, hiring, and training of new team members.

Education

Bachelor's degree required

Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred
