Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

• Experience with prior authorizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process all incoming refill requests to the centralized medication management office in an efficient, standardized and accurate manner. Distributes and routes requests to medication management nursing staff or prescribing physician as indicated by protocol.
• Initiate and process drug prior authorization requests as per protocol, working in conjunction with the medication management nursing staff.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, proper telephone etiquette and exemplary customer service with each encounter to both internal and external customers.
• Conducts all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality; complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures supporting JCMG’s corporate integrity efforts by acting in an ethical and appropriate manner.
