Job summary

You will work with nursing staff and physicians to ensure timely processing of requests in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role requires strong organizational abilities, multitasking, and solid knowledge of medications and EHR workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with electronic health records a plus.
• Knowledge of medications, medical terminology and drug authorization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process all refill requests for centralized medication management.
• Initiate and process drug prior authorization requests per protocol.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and customer service skills in interactions with staff and patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with laws and policies.
