Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted LPCC licensure in California is essential.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience.
• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma care desirable.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is crucial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with EMR software and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and tailor individualized care plans.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, patients, family, and other professionals.
• Organize schedule with appointments, telehealth sessions, and follow-ups.
• Provide telehealth therapy and remote care in a remote capacity.
• Monitor and adapt treatment plans based on assessments and progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to refine approaches.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly progress notes reflecting client status.
• Lead staff training on program implementation and documentation.
• Conduct follow-up assessments and home visits as needed.
• Advocate for mental health awareness within the community.
