Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to provide psychotherapy across individual, family, couple and group modalities, as part of a multidisciplinary psychiatry team. The role operates from home with Pennsylvania coverage and 40-hour weeks, focusing on patient needs and treatment planning.

Responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessments, case management, crisis intervention, and collaboration with inpatient/outpatient teams to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social sciences is required.
• Licensed Professional Counselor certification is required.
• Experience in psychotherapy with various modalities preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with psychiatry and inpatient/outpatient teams.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops treatment plans.
• Provides individual, family, couple and group psychotherapy.
• Participates with program planning with the psychiatry team and other staff.
• Evaluates biopsychosocial needs and documents data per standards.
• Upholds agency policies and ethical standards.
• Collaborates with outpatient and inpatient teams for triage and crisis intervention.
